Dirt, Grit, & Steel

I've been riding bikes as long as I can remember. Growing up in rural Ohio, I was always tearing around on my dirt bike, catching air and pushing my limits. That is, until a nasty crash in high school left me pretty banged up. It was a wake-up call, but it didn't dampen my love for two wheels. If anything, it made me appreciate the engineering and craftsmanship that goes into building a great bike.

Fast forward a few years and I found myself in Chattanooga, Tennessee, working for some of the biggest names in the bike world. I learned a ton at places like American Bicycle Group, Lynskey, and Trek - everything from welding techniques to customer service. But the more I worked on other people's bikes, the more I started to dream about building my own.

It was a slow burn, but eventually, I couldn't ignore the itch anymore. I wanted to build bikes my way, with an obsessive focus on quality, customization, and durability. So my wife and I packed up and moved to Fort Collins, Colorado, where Geary Bikes was born.

It hasn't been an easy road, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. Every day I get to pour my heart and soul into crafting the best damn bikes I know how to make. And I'm just getting started.
